TRIP IDEAS
Welcome to Alaska or "The Great Land". The size of Alaska can be very overwhelming with 576,000 sq. miles of land. That’s a lot of acreage to cover in a single trip. Alaska is one-fifth the size of the United States and comparatively, if you place her over a map of the United States, she reaches the bottom of Canada, the top of Mexico, and borders both the East and west Coast of the United States. The Malespina Glacier, to give you some perspective, is the size of Rhode Island.
Alaska’s regions differ dramatically, and the communities within the regions have their own uniqueness as well. With a population of approximately 600,000 people in all of Alaska, there is but one person per square mile. Wilderness areas can be found just outside of each of our communities. In Southeast Alaska our capital city, Juneau, is the largest with a population of 31,000 and Meyers Chuck is the smallest with 13. There are only 70,000 people in all of southeast Alaska.
We invite you to explore our regions and our communities. Depending upon your time and adventure, this could be a lifelong endeavor. Included above are some possible trip itineraries for your custom charter. These will help give you an idea of some of the activities available during your visist to coastal Alaska.
“I told you who we were, a family of nine, ages 3 to 67 and that we wanted to see a native’s Alaska. You made the perfect match. You kept in touch all through the process and made it so easy. It was the trip of a lifetime. We all thank you more than we can ever say. We recommend Charter Brokers of Alaska to anyone who wants an extraordinary Alaskan Experience.” ~ Dori, Goleta, CA |
